Welder, Journeyman

Job description

The Welder Journeyman is responsible for performing advanced welding tasks using welding techniques to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structure and components for industrial, construction and manufacturing projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding methods, blueprint reading, and a commitment to maintaining equipment and ensuring high-quality and safe work. The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience. RESPONSIBILITES: What You'll Be Doing: - Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. - Performs all welding-related duties, including grinding, housekeeping, shaping component parts, as well as cleaning and checking for defects. - Operates overhead cranes. - Completes all assigned data tracking and related forms. - Follows work procedures and/or visual standard operating procedures. - Learns and implements new welding procedures, systems, and techniques. - Works safely with little supervision. - Adheres to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
