Software Engineer III

Description Markon’s partner company is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and sustainment of GHOSTGEM’s software suite of applications, including DINO and future mission capabilities for the Fort Meade Customer. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions while integrating with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS tools and frameworks. The engineer will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration. Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and sustain applications within the GHOSTGEM software suite - Implement, test, and integrate software solutions with existing COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products and libraries - Develop automation and scripting solutions to support application functionality and deployment - Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across development and operational environments - Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, containerized, and cloud-native solutions Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph - Experience working with Linux command-line interface (CLI) and related tools - Experience developing Bash scripts - Recent experien...
