This role requires a high degree of technical ingenuity to troubleshoot complex automation systems, fabricate custom fixtures, and implement electrical and mechanical improvements. You will bridge the gap between engineering theory and practical manufacturing solutions, requiring considerable creativity and proactive problem-solving. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Collaborate with engineers and scientists to build, modify, and test prototypes and new manufacturing processes. · Utilize PLC ladder logic as a diagnostic tool to monitor program flow and identify the root cause of hardware or sequence failures. · Connect to PLC processors to observe I/O status and verify signal paths, ensuring a clear path for troubleshooting before mechanical intervention. · Lead the construction of electrical panels for in-house projects in accordance with NFPA and Hydro standards. · Act as a technical escalation point fo...
