Job Responsibilities The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking two Building/Grounds Specialist to work in the Grounds Department. These roles will assist with the maintenance of all of campus grounds as well as assisting with event set up on campus; the responsibilities will include the following: - Perform grounds/landscape maintenance functions, such as mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, raking, etc. using grounds related equipment. - Perform furniture moves and replacements campus-wide and specific to campus barracks. - Perform event set-ups for various large and small scale events, including Parades and weekend events. Not limited to six weekend events per year: Matriculation, Parents’ Weekend, Homecoming, Accepted Student’s Day, Corp Day and Commencement. - Perform minor adjustments/repairs to grounds related equipment. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid South Carolina Driver's license is required.
