GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Public Health; to coordinate and maintain administrative functions for a variety of professional accounting and financial work involved in the preparation, formulation, and monitoring of the ATCPHD operating budgets; various accounting assignments including reconciliations, computer data maintenance, accounting standards compliance; revenue and expenditure monitoring; and departmental grant projects. Supervises the grants staff and ensures compliance with standards and reporting practices. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Direct supervision over the Grants staff. IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Manages assigned grant staff to include managing personnel issues and providing resolutions for problems. Supervises and evaluates assigned grant staff; ensures standards of performance are met. Ensure grant team maintains a cooperative relationship among other divisions through effective communication, responding to requests, building rapport, and participation in team building activities.
