Mechanical Engineer - FEA and Design

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Design & Development: - Contribute to the concept development, design, and improvement of Solids Control and Waste Management equipment and systems. - Apply Mechanical Engineering principles to support new product development and enhancement of existing product lines. - Perform engineering analysis, including computational simulation (FEA/CFD), modelling, and validation testing. - Support design verification and validation activities to ensure product performance, durability, and reliability. - Assist with material selection, material modelling, and structured testing programs. - Analyse test data and apply statistical methods to support sound engineering decisions. - Identify technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions. - Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Sustaining & Operational Support: - Provide engineering support to address field issues, product improvements, and reliability initiatives. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Global Engineering teams to support business objecti...
