Scheduler/Planner - Facilities Maintenance

Job description

The Scheduler / Planner supports facility maintenance operations at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center by coordinating and maintaining schedules for maintenance and engineering activities. This role is responsible for documenting, tracking, and coordinating work activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting end-of-month budget and schedule analysis. The successful candidate will maintain accurate work status, manage scheduling priorities, and coordinate with customers, supervisors, and craft personnel to assist in timely completion of projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Perform scheduler-planner duties including documenting, statusing, tracking, planning, and coordinating contractual maintenance and operations activities. - Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or like software to support multiple short-duration projects and tasks. - Maintain accurate work status and backlog information within work management systems and scheduling databases. - Assist in identifying required support elements including access, permits, crafts, materials, and other resources needed for project executi...
