Job type: Full Time Shift: Rotate: Hours: GENERAL DUTIES: The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirection supervision of the Medical Director and/or his designees and the Nursing Director according to the established nursing standardized procedures. This role is a leadership position in the department and the individual is responsible for effective time management, resource utilization, and demonstration of positive role modeling. Required: Will consider experience as a Physician Assistant - Current California RN license - Nurse Practitioner Certification - Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times) - Certification as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Minimum of 5 years clinical experience - Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills. - Demonstrated ability to present self in positive and professional manner Preferred: - Master’s degree. #LI-AM7  Desert Regional Medical Center Hospital is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
