Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions. In this role you will act as a subject matter expert within the Integration & Maintenance Engineering team, responsible for testing and integrating new software, hardware and services into the network, primarily across Packet Core and Policy platforms. The role includes Tier 3 support, vendor coordination, and providing technical leadership while working independently and supporting junior engineers and operations. This position may involve after-hours work and requires strong expertise across mobile data network platforms and the ability to step in for management when needed. What You'll Do: - Provide Tier 3 support for faults, maintenance, and operations across consumer and business network platforms. - Act as a subject matter expert, owning products and leading testing, integration, and deployment of new solutions. - Manage vendors and resolve software issues, ensuring readiness for production deployment. - Plan and execute network upgrades, cutovers, and rollback procedures with minimal customer impact. - Drive ne...
