About the team Our team uses Zillow’s rich data on more than 100 million homes, transactions, and users to understand and forecast housing market trends across the country. We combine econometrics and modern machine learning to deliver insights that guide Zillow’s strategy, help our partners make informed decisions, and improve how customers navigate buying, selling, and financing their homes. About the role: As an Applied Scientist, you will develop and refine forecasting models that power Zillow’s view of the housing market at national, regional, and local levels. You will collaborate closely with other applied scientists, data scientists, economists, and engineers to turn large-scale housing and economic data into actionable insights for senior leaders and partners across the company. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company.
