Position Title: Student Employee, Student Activities Job Description: Support the Office of Student Activities staff with customer service, hosting events, marketing, and office tasks. POSITION TITLE: Student Employee, Office of Student Activities STATUS: Part time: DEPARTMENT: Office of Student Activities: DIVISION: Student Development: REPORTS TO: Dr. Amy Kuspa Sims CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt: MINIMIUM PAY RATE : $15.00 per hour ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty, and community members who visit the Office of Student Activities, through greetings, answering questions, and taking messages. Assist with hosting OSA sponsored events, in-person and virtually. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, assisting with event preparation, set-up, clean-up, decorating, food set-up and serving, checking-in students, working the popcorn machine, moving equipment and supplies, and other tasks as assigned. Maintain campus posting boards, bulletin boards, banners, and literature racks by designing, creating, cleaning, and updating posting areas.
