Job Description Summary: We are excited to deliver our innovative comprehensive team approach to patient care. We have a comprehensive charge nurse, a pharmacist, a transition of care nurse, a resident, and a physician who round on each patient every day from 8 am to 11 am. All patients are seen by the same hospitalist on the floor. Our physicians are a part of the Central Ohio Primary Care Hospitalist group and the same physician rounds on the unit for a week at a time and switches off. The unit consists of medical surgical patients. We also have 4 beds that we utilize as "Long Stay" beds. These beds are filled by patients who have a difficult disposition and require a longer length of stay. There are specific criteria these patients have to meet to be eligible for one of these beds.
