Training and Engagement Specialist

Position Summary Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, the Training & Engagement Specialist supports team member development at JACK Thistledown Racino and JACK Cleveland Casino by delivering training programs, presentations, and engagement initiatives. Essential Functions: Training: - Facilitate training programs (orientation, leadership, compliance, job skills). - Ensure completion of required training. - Maintain training records and materials. - Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements. - Schedule training sessions and manage training spaces. - Coordinate new hire orientation. - Track training in HR systems (HRIS). - Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. - Promote professionalism, accuracy, and a culture of integrity. Engagement: - Plan and execute team member programs, including: - Recognition - Wellness - Community involvement - Team events (holidays, town halls, etc.) - Connect with team members and build relationships across all levels. - Provide excellent customer service. - Maintain a positive and approachable presence. - Support internal communications (email, boards, s...
