Control Systems Engineer (m/f/x)

Job description

Your Responsibilities: - You take ownership of system-level control design (design, simulation, V&V, …), contributing to next-generation engine control architectures and digital engineering capabilities - You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and customers - You design, implement, and maintain model-based plant/system models and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) simulation environments to systematically test, analyze, and validate control functions - You perform evidence-based trade‑off analyses to evaluate and optimize alternative technical solutions - You support application engineers during commissioning activities at test benches and in real-world field applications - You define system-level control specifications, including failure mode analysis, safety and cybersecurity considerations - You analyze, evaluate and document the dynamic behavior and interactions of engine control system elements - You design, develop and maintain engine control system architectures (hardware, software and services) with a focus on performance, quality and reusability - You coordinate with project management and software/hardware development teams to integrate new functions and components,...
