Job description

The Department of Recreation seeks social media contributors and photographers to work during the Summer 2026. Marketing Contributor: Photographer: - Represent the Department of Recreation at resource fairs, student activities, etc. - Contribute dynamic content for various platforms to include social media, photography and video. - Proofreading and strong writing skills - Contribute consistently to Marketing Editorial Calendar by researching, writing and collaborating with student and professional staff. - Participate in weekly marketing team meetings. - Ability to competently, responsibly use social media to articulate specific information in multiple forums to a range of audiences. - Strong writing skills for various platforms to include blog and social media platforms - Work independently and dependably in deadline-driven environment - Outgoing, social skills - 8-10 hours per week; $15/hour starting rate Area Specific Responsibilities: - Work in a multimedia, deadline-driven environment. - Take high quality photos of our program and facility events for promotional use in print and digital media.
