Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: Sign on Bonus Eligible: $30,000 (3 year commitment) GENERAL OVERVIEW: This position performs prescribed MRI imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative. Provides support of coordination of staff and area functions as well as may serve as a physician liaison QUALIFICATIONS: Required - Performs all essential job responsibilities of a MRI Technologist, including but not limited to, performing age-specific diagnostic imaging per established protocols. Effectively communicates and interacts with patients, physicians and other team members. Addresses patient and physician concerns. Responds to adverse events and/or any changes with patient's status. ( 50%) - Acts as a day-to-day mentor/resource for staff and others within the department. Orients and trains new staff and students. ( 20%) - Performs and/or trains others relative to quality assurance activities, quality control, and regulatory testing and accreditation preparation/documentation.
