Description We are looking for experienced manufacturing employees to join the American Packaging Family. Hiring for: Utility Operator, Slitter Operator, PrePress Operator, Press Operators, and Laminator Operators Shift and Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights open ($3 shift premium for nights ) Hourly Rates: $23.75 - $34.88 (dependent on experience) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed. - Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. - Sets up machine. - Observes machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunction. - Measures material dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. - Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling/greasing machines and changing female knives. - Prepares required paperwork, including daily production reports, SPC charting, roll tickets and inventory tags. - Completes work orders when necessary. - Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observa...
