The Career-Technical Instructors report to the Dean of Career and Technical Education. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Teaches students the occupational competencies necessary for employment. 2. Prepares course competency-based outlines for each instructional course or program. 3. Prepares detailed lesson plans, job sheets, and laboratory experiments for all units of instruction. 4. Recommends changes in the total curriculum in order to maintain an up-to-date program. 5. Develops and maintains the progress of each student in the program. 6. Teaches related subject matter. 7. Supervises laboratory experience. 8. Develops a schedule of courses for each semester. 9. Reviews and selects instructional materials such as textbooks and audio-visual materials. 10.
