Position Function: The position is for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track instructor to teach online and/or face-to-face methods courses in math, science, and social studies in the elementary education teacher preparation program. Salary Grade : UC: For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: Please review our departmental website at www.teal.msstate.edu Area of Specialization: Elementary Education Anticipated Appointment Date: August 16, 2026 Tenure Track Status: N/A Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Teach four undergraduate classes each semester in the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership. -Advise elementary education majors. -Participate in departmental activities as assigned. -Work effectively with students and colleagues. -Serve on departmental committees. -Perform other duties as assigned. - Demonstrate a high commitment to quality teaching.
