Description HVAC Copper Pipefitter: KAR & Larrabee, a well-established mechanical contractor with over 50 years in the industry, is hiring experienced Copper Pipefitters for a high-end senior living facility project in Tampa, FL. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale commercial project with a stable company offering consistent work and professional job sites. Responsibilities: - Install HVAC piping systems including chilled water, hot water, refrigerant, and steam - Measure, cut, bend, and assemble copper piping - Perform brazing and soldering to join pipes - Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings - Pressure test systems to ensure proper installation - Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed - Coordinate with HVAC technicians and other trades on-site Work Environment: - Commercial construction site - Indoor and outdoor work - Physically demanding role including lifting, climbing, and working at heights What We Offer: - Competitive hourly pay ($27–$33/hr based on experience) - Opportunity for long-term work with a reputable contractor - Well-managed, professional job sites - Potential to continue on future projects after completion Requirements: - M...
