Construction Inspector

Job description

RK&K is currently seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors, Supervisors, and Managers (TCI, TCIS, TCM) for PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and Municipal highway and bridge projects throughout South Central Pennsylvania. This is a field position that will work primarily at specific construction sites within Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties in PennDOT District 8. Ideal candidates will have at least two (2) years of transportation construction inspection experience, OR, at least four (4) years of construction industry experience (preferably heavy highway/bridge construction). RK&K also hires those with related experiences such as military, and surveyor experience. Essential Function: - Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region’s geographic area - Oversight of contractor’s quality control operations - Quality Assurance sampling and testing - Completion of Daily Sampling and Testing Reports - Daily Inspection Reports (PSA’s or IDR’s) - Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel Required Skills and Experience: - One (1) year of experience as a PennDOT Technical Assistant -...
