SUMMARY: - Responsible for evaluating and assessing raw inventory and "WIP" levels in order to assure operational efficiency while maintaining customer service levels. - Ensures proper mix of gauges (MRP). Manage and coordinates manufacturing employees in receiving, slitting, reduction, storage and staging area. - Reports to Plant Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensures material to be received and in perpetual within 24 hours - Reviews exception reports and non-conformance reports and resolves issues in a timely manner - Coordinates outside processors slitting and transferring of material - Ensures slit coils have been properly cost in a timely manner (including scanning slit coils) - Ensures slit coil inventory levels are within the company guidelines (min/max levels maintained) - Reviews receiving paperwork and assigns part numbers -...
