Corvid Technologies seeks qualified candidates for our applied Aerodynamics group. Entry-level applicants should have advanced degrees (MS, Ph.D.) in aerodynamics with a focus in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Experienced applicants must be able to demonstrate a background of applying CFD methods to real-world problems with 2-5 years of experience. This position supports defense applications for a variety of missile performance programs that include both wind tunnel support and dynamic flight analysis. Corvid uses a variety of computational approaches to solve these problems using internally developed tools and methods. Responsibilities: - Grid generation and development on complex internal/external geometries - Development and execution of CFD solutions and application of the results to systems of interest - Day-to-day informal and formal report generation - Support proposal development on an as-needed basis Requirements: Candidates should be familiar with running and analyzing results from CFD applications, either commercial or research, but familiarity with a specific code is not a requirement.
