Job Summary: The Senior Technical Editor will support writing, editing, and managing technical documentation and supervise tech editor personnel. Essential Responsibilities: Will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, for writing, editing, and managing E3 technical documents such as HERO, HERP, and HERF reports; and RADHAZ assessment reports; EMV Analyses; HERO analyses, and MIL-STD-461G analyses, test reports, and test plans. Minimum Requirements: - Eight (8) years of experience in writing, editing and managing technical documentation. - Four (4) years specialized E3 composition experience with competence in classified document marking, handling, and tracking. - Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: - Management experience of a small group of professional tech writers, including assigning and managing weekly/daily taskings.
