Job Details: The Cashier is responsible for providing prompt, courteous customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining a clean, organized checkout area and being knowledgeable about store policies and products. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and provide a friendly, helpful experience at checkout Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with store policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area Assist with stocking shelves near registers and monitoring inventory levels Answer basic product questions and direct customers to appropriate departments or staff Report any issues with registers, pricing discrepancies, or customer concerns to the supervisor Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures Support the team with other duties as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior retail or cashier experience a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Basic math and computer skills: Ability to...
