Company Description Dawson Mine: Our Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mine and is showing no signs of slowing down! Dawson’s mining process is completed by varied fleets of which this role focuses on the biggest; Draglines & Electric Rope Shovels, but also other electrical assets critical to the business including site HV Powerlines, HV Transportable Substations, and Electrical equipment associated with mine industrial area fixed infrastructure including workshops. It’s not just the interesting large pieces of equipment that you would be working on, it’s also the placement of Dawson, it is located at the southern end of the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, being just over a 2hrs drive west from either Rockhampton or Gladstone, or 4.5hrs drive north of the Darling Downs or South Burnett.
