The Living Room is seeking a part-time Client Support Worker to provide practical, person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage in Melbourne’s CBD. This role is all about brief, impactful interventions, linking people to health and community services and contributing to a safe, welcoming drop-in environment. At The Living Room you’ll work in a fast-paced drop-in environment with complex presentations so a calm, consistent approach and strong boundaries are essential. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and use trauma-informed, person-centred practice to support safety, engagement and practical outcomes. Experience in homelessness, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), mental health or community health settings and confidence working within a harm reduction framework will be highly regarded.
