Area Manager, EHS Program Operations

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in program or project management. - 3 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports. - Experience with environmental health and safety management in a critical environment setting. - Experience liaising with federal, state and local authorities regarding EHS issues. Preferred qualifications: - Professional EHS Certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, REM, WSHO, FSM). - Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience implementing and executing Environmental, Health and Safety management (ISO 45001 or equivalent) including management of EHS compliance for industrial facilities. - Experience managing environmental programs and systems (e.g., ISO 14001 or equivalent, emissions, wastewater). - Track record of delivering complex EHS programs/projects in large multinational organizations.
