Job description

This safety sensitive role is structured on a 40 hour work week, however on call responsibilities are an essential function of this job. Employees must have the ability and willingness to support operations of mission critical systems and/or processes when required. On-call assignments may include after-hours, weekends and holidays. •Develop, manage and mobilize a transportation team (union and non-union) to ensure system fluidity and cross-functional collaboration to drive results; •10 or more years of combined railway operations, maintenance of way/track management, and leadership experience in managing and leading people; - Occasional business travel when required. - Demonstrates a commitment to safety for all stakeholders by knowing the safety requirements for a given situation, executing the safety rules and expectations with excellence, and applying effective and appropriate tactics in sustaining Safety-focused behavior change; - Embed a safety culture mindset within span of control; - Demonstrates operational excellence by knowing and applying the business requirements.
