About the Role: Job Summary The Southern Market Chief Medical Officer serves as a physician executive within NGHS's Southern Market; the position reports to the System CMO. With a strong dotted line to the Southern Market President, the Southern Market CMO works with the Medical Staff at Braselton and Barrow promoting Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience. Dedicated Medical Directors to the Southern Market reports to the Southern Market CMO. Additionally, the Southern Market Chief Medical Officer works on strategic initiatives in the Southern Market by engaging with the Clinical Enterprise leadership and the System CMO. There is an expectation of maintaining a clinical practice. Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: License or eligibility for license to practice in the State of Georgia. Educational Requirements: M.D. or D.O.
