Position Overview BayCare Medical Group , the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Radiation Oncology Department based at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida . The Nurse Practitioner will be a vital member of the Radiation Oncology Clinical Care Team, collaborating with the two radiation oncologists and a full multidiscplinary team and support staff to deliver exceptional cancer care. Resposibilities will include: - Assisting with new patient visits, On-treatment visits, and inpatient consults. - A significant amount of time will be devoted to independently managing follow-up care and leading the cancer survivorship clinic practice. - Collaborate and coordinate care with other members of the patient’s care team including hematology-oncologists, surgeons, and cancer site specialists. - This is an exciting new opportunity to learn new skills (assist in brachytherapy procedures, simulations, treatment planning).
