Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm but may vary due to business needs| Pay Rate: $28.25 Hourly This position can be located in Antlers, OK, Talihina, OK, Stigler, OK, or McAlester, OK| Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Probation Officer 1 is responsible for supervising low-risk individuals placed on probation, ensuring compliance with court-ordered conditions, and providing guidance to support rehabilitation and reduce recidivism. This role involves conducting assessments, monitoring progress, enforcing probation terms, and collaborating with law enforcement, social services, and community resources. This role will report to the Lead Probation Officer. Primary Tasks: Perform case management for low-risk adult offenders ordered to supervision by Choctaw Nation District Court. Conduct regular field, home, and employment contacts with probationers to assess progress and provide necessary support. Assess probationers’ risks and needs as determined by the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS) by employing motivational interviewing skills.
