Schedule- Sunday-Thursday 9am-530pm Housekeeper POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeper helps create a joyful and vibrant community by maintaining a beautiful environment, keeping the community tidy, clean, sanitary, and pleasing to the senses. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Supports dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. - Performs the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned. - Must have high standards of cleanliness. - Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner. - Follows established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. - Follows established Infection Control practices when performing housekeeping procedures. - Must be capable of operating and maintaining all housekeeping/laundry equipment (i.e., commercial washer/dryer, buffing machines, etc.). - Ability to work safely and to recognize potentially dangerous situations. - Attends and participates in required meetings and trainings.
