As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians and other healthcare professionals at VCH and other organizations such as the BC Cancer Agency. - Coordinate transplant activities for a select population of the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) clients/donors as determined by the Hematology/BMT Clinical Practice Unit (CPU). - Be responsibile for providing direct patient care such as initiating transplant workup for clients/donors in collaboration with team members, coordinating diagnostics in preparation for transition to the healthcare facility for transplant, interviewing and assessing clients, and developing individualized care plans. - Communicate regularly with clients/donors along the continuum of the transplant process including providing education to clients and their families,...
