Production Engineer

Job description

What you’ll do: - Own and evolve production process by ensuring reliability, scalability, and audit readiness - Lead incident management and operational reviews: triage, cross-team coordination, RCA, corrective/preventive actions, and executive-ready reporting - Set standards for runbooks, SOPs, and incident records; drive process discipline and continuously improve documentation quality and usability - Use performance analytics and trend analysis to identify systemic drivers of failures, quality leakage, throughput bottlenecks, and cost optimization opportunities - Define, track, and report out on operational KPI and SLI - Own quality controls and QMS requirements to enforce standardized processes, defined checkpoints, and measurable compliance across production workflows - Collaborate closely with software engineers to translate operational and quality findings into backlog items and improvement opportunities - Provide clear and timely communication to manage stakeholder expectations What you’ll need: - Fluent spoken and written English - Working knowledge of geospatial data concepts and tooling (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) - Hands-on experience operating or supporting production systems...
