Job description

Key Accountabilities Design, deploy, and maintain HPC. Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure deployments Lead the technical architecture of compute clusters, high-speed interconnects, and storage systems. Work closely with R&D teams to align infrastructure with application and research requirements. Define operational standards, automation strategies, and best practices. Ensure platform availability, performance, and security. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability. Act as a technical reference for HPC and quantum computing within the organization. Responsibilities: Design and implementation of: HPC platforms: compute clusters, GPU acceleration, high-performance interconnects (InfiniBand, advanced Ethernet). Scheduling and orchestration: SLURM, PBS, or similar workload managers. Storage systems: parallel file systems (Lustre, GPFS), object storage, and hybrid solutions. Containers and reproducible environments: Singularity/Apptainer, Docker, Kubernetes for HPC workloads. Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.
