Head of People & Culture

Job description

We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on and strategic Head of People and Culture to lead our people agenda across the business. The role offers circa £60,000, bonus, 5% pension contributions, BUPA single cover, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays rising with service, and the option to buy up to 1 week of additional leave. This is a key executive role, reporting to the Managing Director and forming part of the executive team, with responsibility for leading the People and Culture function and shaping the overall people strategy. You will lead a team of 4 direct reports, including the Group Health and Safety Manager, and hold accountability for wages oversight of £11m, payroll sign-off and the overall People and Culture approach. This role would suit someone stepping up from a senior People or HR Business Partner position who is ready for broader leadership responsibility and wants to combine strategy with real operational involvement.
