A Day in the Life: As a Big Capital Engineer, you will facilitate the quick resolution of any need of repair and installation of our Big Capital equipment which includes, but are not limited to: Hugo™ Robotic-Assisted Surgery system, O-arm™ intraoperative 2D/3D imaging system, Mazor™ Robotic guidance system, Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System. You are responsible for ensuring that root causes are correctively identified, proposing corrective actions that will eliminate failure modes, ensuring corrective actions are taken and documented. You will develop processes for the testing, rework, repair, and disposition of all Service Returned products for the Big Capital Organizational Units (OU). You may work with the OU’s Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality teams, including the Complaint department to determine product failures.
