Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Applications Engineer to join the Data Center Power and Control Division Starline Team. This is a remote position reporting to Canonsburg, PA. The Sr. Applications Engineer provides high-level engineering expertise, project management, and commercial support for the application of Starline high-amperage busduct products across customer projects. This role leads technical strategy, mentors junior engineers, and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The engineer is responsible for drafting product offers, resolving technical issues, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What Will You Do?: Essential Functions: - Maintain expert-level knowledge of Starline products and their applications. - Design system layouts for busduct systems using site surveys, customer drawings, project tenders, and field input. - Utilize AutoCAD (mechanical and electrical) for layout and design tasks. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including catalog sheets, FAQs, technical briefs, reports, and installation instructions. - Provide technical and commercial s...
