POSITION SUMMARY: The Operational Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of manufacturing employees to achieve goals and maintain high standards of quality. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective communication to drive team success. CORE FUNCTIONS: - Partner with the Leadership on employee scheduling, labor efficiency, work instructions, and throughput. - Collaborate with other area leads and supervisors to facilitate cross-training opportunities; develop employee knowledge in multiple skill sets. - Implement work instructions to ensure employee knowledge and accuracy is up to date. - Collaborate with purchasing, production scheduler, and shipping to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all parts. - Effectively communicate maintenance issues and repair and replace consumables as needed. - Serve as a positive leader and mentor by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets. - Serve as the initial point of contact and primary support resource for employees, functioning as the first line of defense in addressing and resolving various issues they may encounter. - Perform othe...
