Description The MLS Next Pro Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the day-to-day athletic training operations for the MLS NEXT Pro team. This role assists in providing comprehensive sports medicine services, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play support for players. The Assistant Athletic Trainer works closely with the MLS Next Pro & Academy Athletic Training Coordinator, Technical Staff, and medical providers to ensure high standards of player care and compliance with league medical policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist the MLS Next Pro & Academy Athletic Training Coordinator in managing the health care of players, including injury prevention, emergency care, on-site evaluations, treatment, rehabilitation, and medical referrals. - Administer therapeutic modalities and assist with the implementation of rehabilitation and injury prevention programs. - Support the maintenance of complete, accurate, and current player medical records within the League-provided electronic medical record system. - Assist with coordinating medical care with team physicians, physical therapists, specialists, and external medical providers...
