TRAINING SPECIALIST: Location: Washington, DC: Compensation: $75k to $80k: Classification: Exempt: Clearance: Secret: Overview: The scope of work for the Training Specialist shall include developing and deploying training plans that address the needs of all Division users as well as developing reports that include the number and types of training classes delivered, quantity of students attending each class, and the names of the trainers who delivered the training. The Training Specialist shall capture and report results of training evaluations, function as the Administrator, recording learning, adding and scheduling courses, and running reports, creating and maintaining a training calendar distributed to all Division users, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in order to provide recommendations for improvement. Training for new software/hardware may also need monitoring and reporting for special projects. Training curriculums created shall be approved and accommodations for users requiring special needs addressed.
