About the role Green by Nature currently manages many prestigious sports turf sites across greater Melbourne, and we are looking to build the capability of our team by bringing on an exceptional Sports Turf Manager! This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned turfie to join our team based primarily in the inner North and West of Melbourne. The role will assist in ensuring seamless delivery of turf maintenance and site operations in alignment with our client's requirements and sporting calendars. Turf maintenance operations, renovations and site scheduling, team leadership, client engagement, reporting, and sports turf expertise all coming together to execute delivery of our contracts efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: - Completing all maintenance and works programs for our clients ensuring high-quality, consistent turf presentation and the quality and playability of turf surfaces. - Leading, motivating and inspiring a team to always deliver work to the highest possible standards whilst championing their development and well-being. - Monitoring turf health - proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical pr...
