Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world Wood is currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer on contract basis, outside IR35, to join our Consulting business unit based in Staines or Aberdeen on a hybrid basis. #LI-Hybrid The Role: This role involves comprehensive geotechnical expertise across offshore and onshore environments. It includes analysing soil-pipe interactions for various seabed conditions like sand, clay, and silt, and designing foundations for subsea structures using mud mats or piles, with seismic considerations. Additionally, the position demands strong capabilities in geohazard assessment, including desk studies, geological interpretation of geophysical data, and site reconnaissance.
