Plant Quality Engineer

Job description

The Plant Quality Engineer (PQE) - Responsible for all aspects of product conformity for their systems / Components at the Toledo Assembly Complex - South. The PQE reports directly to the PQE Lead and will build effective relationships with both salaried and hourly, assembly plant/corporate personnel, in order to complete projects within their area of responsibility. Responsibilities include: Validating product changes, providing technical expertise, and improving outgoing quality that will meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. With unquestioned integrity and strength of conviction, the PQE responds to manufacturing quality issues and manages all product changes. Through the usage of advanced problem-solving methods and SIS kaizen methodology, the PQE supports all continuous quality improvement initiatives within the plant. Furthermore, the PQE must work collaboratively with cross-functional manufacturing teams and facilitates consensus and drive action from the main stakeholders.
