Job Summary The Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer within Advanced Design & Development (AD&D) is responsible for developing high-fidelity simulation models and environments that support aircraft system integration, flight simulator development, and certification activities for future Part 23 aircraft. This role will focus on creating and validating models for avionics, flight controls, propulsion, mechanical, electrical, and other aircraft systems. These models will be used in early design evaluation and integration testing in an System Integration Lab / Iron Bird environment, and also for simulator-based verification. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure models accurately represent real-world performance and meet FAA certification requirements.
