Department: Athletic Training: Shift/schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/wk): GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Certified Athletic Trainer and the Wellness Operations Manager. The Certified Athletic Trainer's primary job function is to provide athletic training services under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant and physical therapist in a team environment consistent with qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The Certified Athletic Trainer will work closely and coordinate sports programs with Community Health and Wellness, Outpatient Rehab and other hospital departments on providing services to designated schools, local organizations and the community. Education: Licensure: Experience: - Bachelor's degree from an approved four year NATA degree program in Athletic Training or equivalent field required - BOC Certified AT required - State licensure required - BLS within 60 days of hire required - BMVL Required - KY BOC preferred - Six months experience in athletic training related field preferred.
