INTERN: Laser Engineering

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Engineering Intern to join our Laser Product Engineering team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with CO2 lasers, and work alongside industry professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our team and company objectives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Work closely with the engineers in support of all assigned engineering projects including NPI (New Product Introduction) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Project) activities. Primary work includes performing detailed lab experiments from hardware setup to the final reporting. - Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems, including a final presentation reviewing work done during the internship - Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. - Maintain a clean, organized lab environment. - Work with calibration department to maintain equipment calibration for assigned work area.
