The role As part of our XXXX group, the Technical Writer will be responsible for developing a range of technical documentation while supporting the Technical Writer Team Lead. Further, the successful candidate will: Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9-day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role. - Develop product Operator, Maintenance and Software User Manuals. - Review and edit documents from technical writer peers and other team members. - Work closely with Software and/or Hardware Engineers and Software Developers to develop new and existing documentation. - Assist in preparation of ILS documentation and plans. - Validate documentation against the product. - Undertake Technical Writing duties as necessary. - Be familiar with best practice and trends in Technical Writing and as implemented in the defence industry.
