Job Description: Job Title: Lead Engineer Location: Rochester, NY: Salary Range: $106,000 - $132,500: Schedule: On Site - Office: Job Summary: As a Gas Lead Engineer - Gas Engineering System Planning, you will be the subject matter leader to system planning, provide engineering expertise for planning, design, operation and maintenance of the gas distribution and transmission systems. Providing strong engineering principles, industry knowledge and regulatory standards to develop engineered solutions and recommendations to enhance the safety and reliability of the natural gas transmission and delivery systems, including gate and regulator stations. Working across operating companies and states regulators on gas distribution and transmission planning matters. Responsibilities: Working under the direction of Lead and Principal Engineers, conduct complex hydraulic analyses regarding system capacity, safety, and reliability projects. Interface with Gas Supply and support Gas System Design and Gas Operations to troubleshoot and resolve short and long term issues within the gas system.
